Masses are too stupid to pick the right solution

Germany invests heavily in renewables and is a world leader in how much of its energy is generated by renewables. Germany loses money, doing this. Germany has barely put a dent in how much emissions it generates.

France heavily uses nuclear. France is profitable doing this. No nuclear disasters in France. Nuclear is the only energy source, where the garbage byproducts are contained, instead of released in the environment. France decreased its emissions considerably.

Publicly available data clearly shows — nuclear is cleaner and cheaper by a large margin. Propaganda convinced masses that nuclear is evil.

Politicians are too corrupt to implement a solution.

There are a lot of money to be made in climate change and environmentalism. For politicians, this is business. Every green deal is politicians selling preferential conditions to the highest bidder.

This applies to both left and right politicians. No, your favourite is not better.

Climate science is bad science

Good science is independently reproducible science. Climate studies and simulations on the other hand are flaky and produce wildly varying results. A lot of data is public. A lot of projects are open source. You can check for yourself.

Climate change is a problem, but we have almost no scientific understanding of said problem.

Key polluting countries are dictatorships

Pollution is not evenly distributed. Some countries pollute a lot more. Most of them are not democracies. For example — Russia and China — 2 leading powers that are dictatorships and sacrifice their own people on a daily basis. You cannot negotiate with a dictatorship with no value for human life.

Other highly polluting countries — like India — are so poor that they just cannot do it.

Too many people

In the beginning of the 20th century population on Earth was 1 billion people. Now it is 8 billion. 800% increase for a little over a century.

Pollution heavily depends on how many people do the polluting.

Conclusion

There are problems in life that are outside your control. There are problems in life without a good solution.
